Four stages of enlightenment - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Four stages of enlightenment - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia: "The third stage is that of the Anāgāmī (Sanskrit: Anāgāmin), literally meaning "one who does not (an-) come (āgacchati)". The non-returner, having overcome sensuality, does not return to the human world, or any unfortunate world lower than that, after death. Instead, non-returners are reborn in one of the five special worlds in Rūpadhātu called the Śuddhāvāsa worlds, or "Pure Abodes", and there attain Nirvāṇa; Pāli: Nibbana; some of them are reborn a second time in a higher world of the Pure Abodes."

Four stages of enlightenment - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Four stages of enlightenment - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia: "The once-returner will at most return to the human world one more time. Both the stream-enterer and the once-returner have abandoned the first three fetters. The stream-enterer and once-returner are distinguished by the fact that the once-returner has weakened lust, hate, and delusion to a greater degree. The once-returner therefore has fewer than seven rebirths."

The Blog That Ate Mind Chatter » Blog Archive » The Five Stages of Enlightenment…: "Judging from the fact that as I write this over 140 people have posted comments, many people found this post interesting. I could respond to your comments, but since there are so many, and because it’s time to move on to something new, I’ll resist the urge. I wish I had time to respond to all your comments, but I have a million other irons in the fire and I just don’t have enough time to do so. I hope you understand."

Investigating the Stages of Enlightenment at The Middle Way

Investigating the Stages of Enlightenment at The Middle Way: "Enlightenment is often described as reaching the shores of Nirvana. Buddhist and Zen Masters have mapped the journey of Enlightenment calling it “Arriving” and “Returning”. This mapping avoids collecting attributes and goals- it looks at how Truth and Enlightenment are experienced."

The 100 Coolest Cloud Computing Vendors Of 2013 - Page: 1 | CRN: "Software-as-a-Service models promoted by Salesforce.com's on-demand CRM packages captured the attention of businesses years ago. Hosting centers have handled infrastructure needs. Virtualization, eliminating the need to keep hardware on-premise, has acted as a disrupter of traditional IT notions. Amazon.com formalized the cloud business model using its own infrastructure and opened the floodgates of the cloud era."

Zenfolio
The Premium Business plan is $250 per year and is comparable to SmugMug’s Business offering. For photographers looking to fulfill their own orders, Zenfolio offers this option. They also use my personal favorite printer — Mpix — who has done an excellent job with everything I’ve ever sent them. Both offer very nice themes, galleries, Lightroom and Aperture plugins and shopping carts but Zenfolio also throws in an iPad app for client presentations for Premium($120/year) and Business users. All in all, you are looking at a very similar service for a similar price."

Comparing the best ways to store your photos online - CNET: "Cloud storage sites
If all you want is to host your images online somewhere, without any extra features like photo editing, social networking, and printing services, your best bet is to use a cloud storage site.

Amazon Cloud Drive, Google Drive, Dropbox, and SkyDrive are some of the more popular options that are usually focused on document storage, but we're seeing these services evolve to offer more photo-friendly features, like Google Drive's thumbnail view.

The advantage to using these services is that you'll rarely encounter file size limits, you can upload any file type you like, and the interfaces are clean and easy to navigate. You'll most definitely need to pay for storage space, but the benefit is that you can use your cloud storage for items like documents and videos, too."

Magazine - My World My Work: "So now you have heard,
this one tree's little story.
While pulling up one's roots,
can be so terribly gory.
I may just decide
to only temporarily reside.

Location, the one choice,
which after all is- such a limiting thing.
Because I cannot allow my personal voice,
to become totally disconnected from a certaint sapling."

Fantasy vs. Reality: Debunking Myths of Love, Relationships, and Marriage

Fantasy vs. Reality: Debunking Myths of Love, Relationships, and Marriage: "A relationship or marriage succeeding or failing is in direct correlation with the amount of effort each person is willing to put in. Simple math. A relationship between two people is not “destined” to fail or “destined” to succeed at any point. It relies on the work each person puts in to maintain and nurture it, as well as their efforts to deeply understand one another, evolve together (and individually), and mend or address any bumps along the way."

Are You a Mindful Maverick? | Ora Nadrich

Are You a Mindful Maverick? | Ora Nadrich: "The term "maverick" comes from Samuel Maverick, a lawyer, politician and land baron who refused to brand his cattle.

Being of your own mind, and acting on it, lets you call the shots for how you want to live your life -- and if you can couple that type of thinking with mindfulness, there's no telling what you can do, or how far you can go."

Legal Guardianship and Child Custody | LegalMatch Law Library: "It is common for a non-custodial parent may have physical custody of the child (for example on weekends) but not legal custody.

This means that the non-custodial usually cannot make certain legal decisions on behalf of the child. On the other hand, a legal guardian has the authority to make such decisions for the child.   "

Only 3 Interview Questions Matter - Business Insider

Only 3 Interview Questions Matter - Business Insider: "Have you got the skills, expertise, and experience to perform the job?

Marr says to answer this one, you need to think about the key skills you might need for the job, and assess your own level of expertise and experience in that context. “It makes sense to identify the more specific or technical skills that your potential employer might expect as well as some more generic skills such as being a good communicator, having good IT skills, being a team player, etc.”"

Painting with Oils Over Acrylic -- Is it Okay?

Painting with Oils Over Acrylic -- Is it Okay?: "What you shouldn't do is to start a painting in oils, which dry slowly, and then paint on top with acrylics, which dry quickly. But provided the canvas has been primed to be suitable for both oil paints and acrylics, it's fine to start a painting with acrylics and then finish it in oils. But with the caution that the acrylic paint shouldn't be too glossy or thick."
